I participated in an art journal workshop last month called 30 Pages/30 Days. It was quite fun and helped reinforce the importance of a daily art practice. The drawing above is from Day 25.
Our prompt was to draw in water soluble ink and then turn it into a wash with water and brush, draw some more, melt it with water more, and so on. The paper in the book I’ve been working in doesn’t like to be very wet so this was really pushing the limit of what it could handle. I’m pleased with how it turned out and think it deserves a round two on some real watercolor paper.
