Inktober Day 20: Deep
Ink and white-out, 8″ x 8″
The day 20 prompt for Inktober was “deep”. I went with Sktchy for inspiration today. This was one of their curated suggestions for deep, as in deep in thought.
I am pleased with how this turned out. This week I imposed on myself the restriction of only working with my new parallel pens, to figure out what they can do and how they can help me do what I want to do. The lines and darks are drawn in waterproof ink in a couple of the narrow pens and the grey tone is diluted waterbased ink in a wide pen. A lot of the texture is spatter with a toothbrush, and then I used a white-out pen to get some of the lights back

Might be my fav drawing so far! Although all are incredibly detailed and expressive, and the description of your tools is helpful.
