Last Drawing In An Abandoned Book

Ink, 5.5" x 7.5"

Ink, 5.5″ x 7.5″

PITT artist pens in a couple of grey shades.  This is going to be the last drawing in this particular book.  I tried to stick with it and adjust to the paper but it’s driving me a bit nuts.  For a while I thought, “You’re just being too picky.”  I’ve abandoned books before because of the paper.  The last straw with this book was having to pull paper fibers out of the nib of my fountain pen.  Whine, whine, whine.  Complain, complain, complain.

Don’t worry!  I already have another book.  So far I dig it, and  you will get to see stuff from it soon.

  1. I’m having a paper/binding conversation with my new journal. Haven’t decided to stick with it yet — being picky about paper is part of being creative, I think. I always try to make do, until it drives me crazy. Hope your next book is perfect.

    • Thanks, Joy. I think the new book will work out well.
