Weekend EDM Drawings

EDM challenge #2 is to draw a desk lamp or other lamp. Ink, over gouache, over some lists. I toyed with the idea of bringing in some white to lighten things up and started with some colored pencil for the bulb. I immediately had second thoughts and was able to get most of it out- still a bit of a ghost image of the bulb.

My first go at EDM #2, in which I play with watercolor and discover that the paper in this book really doesn’t like to be wet. Messed around with some pitt markers after everything was dry. I was pleased only that the shredded bit laid flat for the scan.
