Here’s another “paused television” drawing.  Some guy talking about a space probe to Saturn.  “Pardon me, Mr. Scientist.  Just hold that thought a moment so I can sketch you.  Yes, just like that.  Thanks.”

I’m drawing a bit more in ink and less in pencil.   That first mark, that first line is often pretty darn close to being the “right” mark or the “right” line.  Putting it down in ink means I have to own it.    Basically my thought is: if I don’t have the option of erasing, how will things turn out?  Anyways, Mr Scientist was drawn quickly with fountain pen, shaded with PITT artist pens, and lightened up with some white pencil.
